Rab is an island of 93.6 square kilometers. On the island, you will find the village of Lopar which has an abundance of beautiful sandy beaches. The largest and most famous is Rajska Plaža or 'Paradise Beach', which is 1.5km / 0.9m long. This is a natural phenomenon with an underwater entrance to three inter-connected caves. It used to be the habitat of the Mediterranean sea bear after which it was named.
