This spacious maisonette is located in a Victorian Terrace House but has been refurbished with modern appliances throughout.

The Space:
Inside, there is a lovely blend of old and new as original cast iron fireplaces sit alongside vibrant wall colours and wallpapers. The spacious lounge features two comfortable sofas (one of which is a sofa bed) as well as TV with freeview. At the back, the kitchen has been kitted out with everything you need to cook up a feast: from the electric hob and oven to a microwave, kettle and toaster. Meals can be enjoyed around the dining table or out on the terrace, which has ample dining-ware as well as rooftop views. On the ground floor, you will also find a double bedroom with desk space and children's toys as well as a light and bright family bathroom with a shower and bath.

Upstairs, there is a further double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The impressive eaves room is cosy yet contemporary, offering plenty of storage space for clothes. The modern bathroom also has a luxurious overhead shower. It's convenient location to Plymouth city centre and homely features makes this the perfect place for a coastal getaway.

Guest Access:

The Neighborhood:
Plymouth is known as Britain's "ocean city"- home to breath-taking views, plenty to see and do and lots of fresh, sea air. In the centre of town, you will find Drake Circus the large shopping centre. Whilst further south you will discover Plymouth Hoe. With stunning views, it’s the perfect place to spend a sunny day, enjoying a picnic on the grass or taking a dip in the art deco Tinside Lido (open during the summer months). Hoe Park or central Promenade are home to the the iconic Smeaton's Tower lighthouse, which stands at 72 foot high and offers some of the most incredible views of the city and sea. For good food, try The Waterfront for drinks at sunset, Lorenzos for Spanish Tapas and The Greedy Goose for its alfresco dining. The Dock, Rock Salt and Rockfish are also brilliant for fresh seafood dishes.

The historic Barbican and Sutton Harbour are the heart of the city's heritage with the oldest buildings and the greatest number of historical stories. Around the Barbican, a vibrant place of cobbled streets, narrow lanes and more than 200 Listed Buildings. You will also find boutique shops, galleries, pubs, cafes and restaurants. The main street of Southside Street is home to the world famous Plymouth Gin Distillery - a must visit for Gin lovers!

Another brilliant area of the city is Royal William Yard, and here you will find a number of events throughout the year: outdoor theatre productions, an open-air cinema as well as arts and crafts markets. You can even take a refreshing dip in the outdoor tidal pool, which is accessible from the Yard, before retreating to one of the independent cafes and restaurants for a bite to eat!

If you'd like to mix your time in the city with some time out, it's easy to head to National Trust's Saltram. The beautiful Georgian house is just a 15 minute drive away, and is surrounded by acres of pretty grounds that make for lovely walking! In 25 minutes drive, you can also be at Bovisand Beach: a real gem. Located within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is popular with locals, families and walkers!

Getting Around:
Plymouth has excellent transfer links with London, Cornwall and Bristol so it's easy to enjoy a stay here without the need for a car. Regular trains run to and from the city, and the station is just a 5-minute drive or 15-minute walk away. You're in the perfect location to walk everywhere, but should you need any taxis they are very easy to find online.

There is free on-street parking on the surrounding roads. However, it is restricted between 2pm & 7pm. Please refer to the signs for further details. There is a car park less than a 2 min drive away that costs £13 for 24 hours or £55 weekly, the car park address is North Hill Car Park, PL4 8ET.

Great location for family visit - few things to improve
Overall things were good inside, very comfortable, heating worked well, TV & wifi perfect, nice back patio off kitchen [even if weather didn't allow too much time out there!!], nice bathroom facilities, etc. Enjoyed the stay & very convenient for local stores & family I was visiting. Instructions for the hot water & heating were not particularly clear in the 'guest guide' but it didn't take long to figure out It would be nice to have a light that can be switched on as you enter the front door & for the hallway to generally be cleaned up. Front garden outside house - the 'SOLD' sign is still up which is a little odd & the front area would be so much more welcoming with minimal effort.
