Daphni Villa is a four-bedroom and three-bathroom vacation villa situated over a small coastal village and surrounded by the green hills of olive groves. Aiming to provide guests with a perfectly comfortable and relaxed stay, its exclusive position draws attention. Daphni Villa is an entire independent villa with a garden and private pool in a privileged location just a short distance away from sandy beaches, tavernas, and Rethymno town, a standout summer destination.
Indoors, the villa has two floors and can accommodate up to 8 guests: the ground floor is composed of a living room with a suite, satellite color TV, and open fireplace, a dining area with an integrated open-plan kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and balcony, a bathroom with a shower and a storage room. The first floor, reached by a staircase is composed of a second bedroom with a double bed and balcony, a third bedroom with two single beds and balcony, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a fourth bedroom with a separate bathroom.
Framed by wooden walls, the outdoor space of Daphni Villa is perfect for spreading out, relaxing, and gazing at the endless blue of the sea and sky. A 40m2 swimming pool with a paddling pool, a sun terrace with garden furniture, sunbeds, and umbrellas, as well as a garden and a BBQ, can be used as an outdoor living and dining area for grill meals.
With its plot and amazing panoramic views, Daphni Villa’s geographical position, even though quiet, and secluded, allows you to easily travel to the beautiful little settlement of Gerani, and the long sandy beaches of Petres, Kavros, or Giorgioupolis.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Starting from January 1st, 2024 there is a new "environmental tax/fee" that the guests will have to pay for each day of their stay in our country according to the following schedule:
- From March to October, the rate of 10 Euros per day should be paid in cash on arrival.
- From November to February the amount of 4 Euro per day should be paid in cash on arrival.

Family friendly villa

We stayed with a 2 year old and 10 month old and the villa worked really well for a family holiday. The pool area was particularly good, with a shallow children’s area attached to the main pool. We were also provided with a cot and high chair. The rooms were all quite evenly sized and the air conditioning was very effective. The local area has several nice restaurants but a car is definitely needed. Our main con in the villa was that the kitchen was not very well equipped if you wanted to do much cooking.

Tolle Lage des Hauses

Die Anreise und die Kommunikation hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, da es im Ort schöne Restaurants gibt, der Strand in der Nähe ist toll (15 Minuten Autofahrt). Das Haus hat einen tollen Garten und einen wunderschönen Pool, hier haben wir die Zeit verbracht, wenn wir im Haus waren. Auf der Terrasse haben wir gefrühstückt, hier ist für 6 Personen wunderbar Platz. Drinnen ist noch mal ein Tisch für 6 Personen nutzbar. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, kleine Kaffeetassen aber nur 3 Stück, ansonsten große Tassen sind genügend da. Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr sauber, während des Aufenthalts wurden die Betten frisch bezogen und Handtücher gewechselt, das war top. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf Kreta.

Wunderschöne Villa am Hang

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der Villa Daphni (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder). Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben und mit allem ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter war problemlos und immer sehr schnell. Es war sehr angenehm,dass das Haus zwischendurch geputzt wurde.

Très belle maison familiale située en bordure d’un petit village typique très vivant et agréable. Localisée près de Réthymnon. Parfait pour visiter l’or sur de la crête.

Hello there,
I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector.
One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable.
I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself.
The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile).
