Shopping, dining, and a variety of small businesses abound in the village's bustling centre, which is home to a variety of locals' favourite spots. Skipton, located a little further out, is known as the "Gateway to the Dales,". The town of Keighley, which was made famous by the 1970s film "The Railway Children," is located in the opposite direction. Haworth, the literary hotspot and birthplace of the Brontë sisters, and the surrounding moorland that inspired their works are also easily accessible.
