For the historically minded the towns of Verteuil, with its magnificent chateau, riverside restaurants and bars. Nanteuil de Vallee, and its famous old monastery, and good restaurants, both within 10/15 mins drive. Also there are two riverside restaurants at Condac just a few mins drive away.
