About this property

2 bedroom ‘Bungalow Alto’ in La Mata. On the sunny southern Costa Blanca. 35 mins from Alicante airport. Perfect for families and couples. Gated complex with 2 pools (large one open peak season only).
Our property is located only 500 metres from one of the best blue flag beaches in the region, which is backed by a promenade, lined with numerous restaurants and bars. 5 mins walk to a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, chemists etc. 10 mins walk to the town square & local wine bodega. Lovely walks around the salt lagoon nature reserve, 10 mins away, where various types of wildlife including flamingos and hoopoes can be spotted. The town has a street market every Wednesday morning and there are a number of fiestas throughout the year.
A bus stop near the property also allows you to take a short trip into the lively town of Torrevieja.

Apartamento correcto

Apartamento sencillo, 2h, cocina-comedor y baño, terraza. Urbanización cerrada, con posibilidad de aparcamiento en la calle, suelo haber sitio. 15 minutos andando del centro de La mata, playa de arena pero con pedruscos dentro. Piscinas muy buenas.

I lived in Spain for 5 years and we regularly visit the apartment ourselves both as a couple, with friends and with our children.
Happy to answer any queries and give info on places to visit depending on your interests.

Why they chose this property

La Mata still has plenty of local Spanish charm. The area is a great location whether you want a relaxing beach holiday, a kid friendly area or a base to explore he many attractions, coastline and larger towns within an hour or so drive. Plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes walkable from our apartment as well as the beach and natural parklands. Only 35-40 mins drive from Alicante airport.
We can let you have a contact to arrange transfers to and from the airport if you do not want hire a car.
We also offer welcome packs incase you arrive late in the evening, or just want the basics to hand when you arrive (basic package includes Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Orange Juice, Mineral Water, Bread, Butter, Ham, Cheese, Bacon, Eggs, and a Bottle White Wine for). Please contact me for prices.
