DO NOT BOOK

I hate leaving bad reviews but I don’t want anyone to go through what my family had to deal with. The apartment host tried to add £150 for utilities (water, light and gas) after we’d paid the full amount luckily Vrbo cancelled this payment as these bills should be included. A few days before we were due to fly out I asked for the address which she refused to give and we ended up on a wild goose chase to find the apartment also she added extra €20 for towels which also says it’s included on the listing. When we arrived there was no remote for the air con so I asked her where it was she said because we didn’t pay the extra £150 we couldn’t have it (Italy was 40c) so we turned the air on via button on the unit. On the last day the host turned up very aggressive, shouting and demanding money saying she was going to call the police so we got our stuff to leave then she blocked the stairs (which I have video evidence of). Now because I haven’t given her any extra money she’s claiming damages that were already at the apartment when we arrived, I would not book this apartment again it has been a nightmare.
