About this property
Bure Bank, Saxthorpe, Norfolk
Bure Bank, a cosy and stylish detached bungalow, is situated in an idyllic rural setting on the banks of the River Bure in Saxthorpe, only a few minutes' walk from the village green, store and pub. Just six miles from the gorgeous Georgian town of Holt, the stunning North Norfolk coast can easily be reached by car in twenty minutes, and the beautiful Norfolk Broads are within half an hour, making Bure Bank the perfect bolthole for discovering all that Norfolk has offer, year round.
Ideal for a family with older children (as the sunny garden is bordered by the River Bure), small group of friends or couples, Bure Bank has two bedrooms (one king-size with an en-suite shower and one double) and a family bathroom with bath and shower over. The living space is light and airy and open-plan and spills on to the garden - ideal for alfresco morning coffees or late afternoon/ evening dining as the sun goes down, listening to the water trickling from the nearby watermill. The sitting room has a wood burning stove, making this a cosy retreat all year round, and the garden room has been set up as an office - as well as a gorgeous peaceful area to retreat to - so if you need to catch up on a few last-minute work emails, or want to extend your holiday by 'working from home', this hideaway is ideal.
Saxthorpe is a peaceful little village about ten miles inland from the North Norfolk coast and is superbly positioned to enjoy and appreciate all things that are Normal for Norfolk - the big blue skies, spectacular coastal and rural walks and cycle rides, iconic country houses, the prettiest brick and flint villages and, of course, the endless waterways of the Norfolk Broads.
Additional Information:
Sorry, no children under the age of 12 or pets.
The garden to the rear falls away to the River Bure, and the bank is steep. It is not fenced, so therefore it is unsuitable for children.
A mixture of synthetic and feather bedding is provided.
*The Smart television in this property is an internet-enabled streaming television and therefore does not have Freeview. However you can enjoy your favourite channels by viewing through your BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5 account or creating an account whilst staying at the property. Details on how to do this will be provided at the property and there is no charge associated with doing this.
Please Note: Due to Bure Bank's rural location, there is little or no phone signal; with the exception of EE Network.
