Swn y Don (Sound of the Waves) in Harlech is a cottage-style bungalow with one of the most wonderful panoramic sea views in Wales. From Snowdon to the tip of the Llyn Peninsula, you will be able to savour the ever-changing light and glorious sunsets over Harlech. Looking straight over the golf course, you can enjoy views beyond towards Criccieth and Abersoch. This cosy and comfortable home has quality furniture, bright pictures, a video library of films and plenty of books and games. The sunny double bedroom has an original fireplace and stunning coastal views, and the large, bright living room is elegantly furnished with some attractive period features including a Georgian-style fireplace. You can spend some peaceful reading in the garden room with a gin and tonic, opr sit out on the beautiful new decked area with its wooden garden furniture - the ideal spot for al fresco dining or morning coffee whilst enjoying the views. There is also a small, pretty garden where youi can sunbathe or enjoying the magnificent sea view. A short 10-minute walk (¼mile) from the cottage takes you into Harlech, a small pleasant town dominated by the magnificent Norman castle with distinctive small shops, courtyard antiques, good restaurants and cafés, small supermarket, bank, post office, chemist, health centre and a filling station, as well as the Royal St Davids’ Golf Course, one of the finest links courses in Wales.
