Convenient and well supplied

This is a small apartment in a secure building . . at first glance the neighborhood seemed a bit if'y . . but after we were there . . we felt quite safe . . it is about 12-15 minute walk to the Metro . . around the Metro area are several restaurants, bakeries, and an Aldi's . . we tended to eat out for the noon meal . . would pick up a rotisserie chicken from one of the shops or something from Aldi's for dinner . . the unit was well stocked . . I brought things for the kitchen/laundry . . but every spice or whatever you needed seemed to already be there . . the owner was very easy to communicate with . . for the cost I would say it was a bargain . . the only drawbacks were the lack of heat . . something about not turning on the building heat until mid-October . . we had two cold days at the end of our tour . . and it's close to the railroad lines which could be a bit noisy . . overall . . I was satisfied
