Welcome to a nice, sunny accommodation on Daftö, an island just south of Strömstad. Here you live in a quiet and pleasant environment in a cottage area with the sea and swimming opportunities just around the corner. In the area there is a larger green area common to the area for all kinds of ball games and games. The accommodation is within walking distance to one of Sweden's best campsites Daftö resort with i.a. its large amusement park for children, pool area, beaches, restaurants, service shop etc. Daftö is one of several islands in the area, there are plenty of easy-to-tread paths that run across these islands. Here you can walk around in everything from straight pine forests and sandy beaches to weather-exposed rocks and cobblestone fields, the islands have several nature reserves and also a national park, Kosterhavet National Park, one of Sweden's most species-rich areas. The cottage with both its city and seafront location is a perfect starting point for exploring Strömstad and the surrounding area. The cottage is on two levels with an adjacent annex. From the terrace area you reach the cottage's entrance area under the roof, once inside you are met by an open bright and pleasant floor plan with open kitchen equipped with hob, separate oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and microwave, living room with comfortable sofa group and TV, bathroom with shower and underfloor heating . On the second floor are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with a single bed. In the annex building there is a sofa bed and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the terrace, which is both covered and open, there is a barbecue and summer furniture group for cozy breakfast hours or relaxing barbecue evenings where you while the sun goes down in the northwest can sit and discuss today's adventures or plan for tomorrow's excursions. The cottage also has internet connection. In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, rich restaurant life, pleasant shopping in small shops that are close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. If you want to experience more islands and archipelago environments, there are several boat charters and bathing boat trips from the port in the center to several archipelago islands such as. Furholmen or Kosteröarna but also to neighboring Norway. It is also possible to rent a boat or kayak for your own exploration trips.
