Just 200 yards from the sea, making an ideal seaside holiday home. Regency Cottage is great for larger family gatherings, decorated and comfortably furnished to offer a warm welcome at any time of year. A short walk is Walcott sandy beach, popular with families with children, dogs are allowed (please note restrictions to parts of the beach are in place during peak summer months) and you can sometimes spot the surf board enthusiasts, when wave conditions permit. Walcott has plenty of places to eat whether you seek breakfast, lunch or dinner. Walking distance to the café, shop and fish and chip shop - a favourite with the locals. There are two pubs in the village both serving good food. The Coastal Path for excellent walking is on the doorstep. Neighbouring seaside village of Bacton has a sandy beach, take away restaurants, cafes and inns. Bacton Woods with miles of designated woodland trails is great for walking, cycling and picnic opportunities. The market town of Stalham has supermarket, shops and riverside fun activities. Set over two floors with 5 bedrooms. Having a double bedroom with ensuite shower cubicle on ground makes an excellent choice for guest avoiding any steps or stairs. Located at first floor, is the family bathroom, two further double bedrooms and bunk bedded room with walk through to connected bedroom with single bed, a great space to ‘hang out’ with toys. To the rear of the cottage is a lovely enclosed sunny lawn garden with seating furniture. The open plan living/dining room has comfortable sofas, a great space to relax and watch your favourite TV shows and a place to dine. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare all your meals at home.
Great family days out include the outdoor adventure park BeWILDerwood at Horning, Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, Pettits Animal Park at Reedham and Banham Zoo. Traditional resorts of Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Sheringham are a 40-minutes drive for sandy beaches and seaside attractions. Wroxham, capital of the Broads National Park is a 20-minutes drive, where you can hire a day boat to explore the miles of waterways. Why not try kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding with equipment and lessons available. Or just simply sit back and relax onboard one of the many organised river trips. There is also a mainline train station and gauge railway station, model village, plenty of waterside restaurants, cafés, supermarket and shops. For the gardener, a visit to the 32 acres of garden at the Old Vicarage Gardens at East Ruston is a must. Golfers will enjoy Mundesley and the Royal Cromer golf course. National Trust properties nearby include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park and Horsey Wind Pump. Visit Horsey Beach between December and February, and you may spot hundreds of grey seals and pups on the beach. Alternatively, visit the historical city of Norwich (23 miles) with its cathedral, theatres, museums, cobbled streets, array of shops, including two indoor shopping malls, cafés and inns. Sea fishing available from Walcott beach. Beach 200 yards. Shop and cafe 300 yards. Pub 0.5 miles.
