Awful Host - ruined christmas
Before even arriving at this property I was made to feel unwelcomed, anxious and stressed. The property has damages to which we have videos and they are now stating that we have caused this and is attempting to charge us for these damages, the fridge was dirty and there was molding food products left in cupboards. We have document evidence of it all. Amenities such as parking facilities are not clearly contracted prior to booking and the host then attempts to charge you extra although there is plenty of free on street parking unless the area is holding an event to which during our time period was not the case so we parked on the street. According to the host the platform allowed an overlap in booking to which they requested we leave a day early on boxing day which i expressed the difficulties this would hold to which the host belittled and tormented me by stating that they could cancel the booking 24 hours prior to our expected arrival. We had already requested as the host could not honor our dates and would prefer for us to leave early to provide a refund and we book elsewhere to which we were informed it was just 1 day. The property states that it leaves 24 hrs between guest having this interaction I dont believe this could be truthful if they wanted us to leave and new guests to occupy it the same day. As mentioned there is numerous damages to the property and plenty of cobwebs and unclean fridge from the host alone i would avoid.
