There are several historic monuments and sandy beaches to visit from the villa: Medieval fortress of Monemvasia the jewel of the region, Cave of Kastania, Ancient city of Pavlopetri, port village of Gerakas the only fjord of Southern Europe, the petrified forest, the magnificent small island Elafonissos and the sandy beaches of Pori, Plitra, and Vlychada.

A long dirt road must be taken to reach the villa, the rental of an SUV type vehicle is preferable (although practicable with a normal vehicle but be careful of holes and bumps)
