Town: South Molton, North Devon, is renowned as The Gateway to Exmoor and has a market twice a week. Its location near coastal and inland beauty sites will please all visitors. Forests, moors, rivers, and the coast are nearby, along with old churches and buildings. Residents like the area's calm charm, and visitors notice the locals' civic pride. There is superb walking on the South West Coast Path and the North Devon beaches are varied and interesting. Visit Watersmeet Gorge, Valley of the Rocks, and the cliff train. Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge, and Withypool are among Exmoor's attractions. Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are also worth a visit, as are Woolacombe, Saunton, and Croyde.
