Ik ben gepensioneerd architect en reis al sinds mijn 16e met vakanties door Italië . Samen met Liesbeth mijn echtgenote geniet ik nog steeds van al die rijkdommen in Italië. Die reizen hebben ons uiteindelijk in Basilicata gebracht, de streek waar de tijd heeft stil gestaan en het echte Italië nog te ervaren is. We gaan graag een aantal malen per jaar naar onze villa in Pisticci in de lente en herfst. Het heerlijk klimaat, het lokale “cucina povere” en de altijd hartelijke inwoners, zee en stranden, de prachtige omgeving en stadjes geven ons, onze kinderen en kleinkinderen de mogelijkheid heerlijke tijden door te brengen in onze Villa Caporotondo
