Bold and bright:
Neighbouring the trees of Queen’s Park, Kingswood Avenue III goes against the grain. To the left of the entrance, the sitting room has a mustard-yellow sofa, artwork-lined walls and an upcycled wagon coffee table. The staircase – wallpapered in Penguin Classics – leads past the colourful playroom to the contemporary kitchen. Skylights brighten blue-grey cabinets and a dining table for ten, and there’s a country look to the knotty floorboards and exposed brick feature wall. The garden, through tall glazed doors, has a dining table and a trampoline.
On the first floor you’ll find a toilet wallpapered in newsprint, and the beamed third bedroom – which has a double bed and its own ensuite. Further up, there’s a super king bed, freestanding bath and ornate dressing table in the characterful master bedroom (which also has an ensuite). Also on this floor, the second bedroom has a king-size bed, and up again you’ll come to the bathroom and a pair of animal-themed bedrooms.:
Home Truths:
- This home doesn't have air conditioning. From june - september we'll provide fans for the bedrooms. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
- There is now a double bed in the fourth bedroom, replacing the bunk bed. The double bed in the fifth bedroom has been replaced with a twin configuration. We will soon be replacing these photos on the listing.
- The fireplaces in this home are all ornamental.
- This home is spread over four floors with no internal elevator.
- This home will consider pets on request.
- A dog, rabbit, and tortoise live in this home. They won't be around during your stay but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.
- This is a much-loved family home and so shows some signs of wear and tear.
- Please note this property requires full payment for the stay prior to check-in, guests will receive a message from the property with a secure payment link after booking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old, we will check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
