Welcome to our modern 1-bedroom apartment! Our home-from-home is newly refurbished and perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers. Our Empire 39 apartments are not far away from all the Scarborough attractions including the castle, the sealife center, Alpamare Water Park, The Open-Air Theatre with many top music acts through the summer. Just up the road is the Stephen Joseph theatre running regular shows, and the SPA.
Town centre parking is payable. If you would like to park outside the property, we can provide parking permits for £6 per day.
It is also possible to park at the train station - £4.20 for 24 hours or £19 for 7 days. The train station is 5 minutes' walk from the apartment.

Must be able to manage stairs.
This apartment is on the first floor.
There are a few steps up to the front door of the building. Inside the building there is one flight of carpeted stairs up to the apartment.

Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Please bring your own sheet.

A digital guest guidebook will be sent to guests prior to their stay. It includes check in/out details, driving directions, a detailed apartment manual, restaurants recommendations, and much more!

Empire No 39 is in the heart of Scarborough’s busy town centre, just a few meters from the main street with all its bars, cafes, and restaurants. The south bay beach is just a 10 min walk away with all the seaside attractions.
The north bay beach, including the open-air theatre and Peasholm Park, are a 25-minute walk.

Empire 39 offers a generously sized primary bedroom featuring a king-size orthopaedic bed and mattress, ensuring a restful and comfortable night's sleep.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you could need, an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and full-size fridge and freezer. The spacious, open-plan living room has a double sofa bed that simply folds out and comfortably sleeps 2 people.

The living room is well-appointed with a smart TV, and it benefits from a bay window that offers delightful views of the green space below. Breakfast or dinner can be enjoyed at the dining table, which also serves as a comfortable workspace when needed.
The bathroom has a large rainfall shower, toilet, and sink.
Empire 39 is conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the train station.
There are plenty of buses that will take you to Filey or Whitby.
