Right in front of the terraces of most holiday apartments starts the rock formation Hammerknuden. Just 300 metres from Sandvig Søpark are the lakes Hammersø and Opalsøen, where you can try out Denmark's longest cable car. You should also stop by the castle ruin of Hammershus.
