Tourist Tax in Portimão
Applies to all guests aged 13 or older staying in tourist accommodations* or local lodging** within the Municipality of Portimão, regardless of nationality or residence. The tax is charged per person per night, up to a maximum of seven nights.

HOW MUCH IS THE TAX?

€1 per person, per night (up to 7 consecutive nights per person) – from November 1 to March 31 (low season)

€2 per person, per night (up to 7 consecutive nights per person) – from April 1 to October 31 (high season)

NOTE: A security deposit of €200 is required before check-in – we will hold the deposit on your credit card (upon arrival or one day before) and it will be released up to 7 days after check-out. Please make sure you’re aware of this refundable deposit before arrival – we want to avoid any misunderstandings!
The platform does not handle the security deposit, so we are authorized to collect it directly from the guest. This information will appear when you confirm your booking. Therefore, all reservations must pay the refundable deposit before or on the check-in day.
