Practically perfect in every way
Sarah and Graeme have really thought of everything when it comes to their property. From the little welcome hamper with the lovely snacks, to the spare dog lead and poo bags in the hallway settle, I was not wanting for anything. The cottage was absolutely stunning, exactly as pictured, with a beautiful garden that both myself and my dog Arthur thoroughly enjoyed. We were blessed with great weather during our stay so managed to traipse around a few National Trust locations - the nearest ones are about a 30 minute drive away. However, there was lots of lovely walks and nearby tourist spots detailed in the guest information book. To be honest, the level of detail in the guest information book was phenomenal; Sarah and Graeme left me instruction manuals for just about every appliance in the house, and even a guide on how to light a good log fire. Overall, I cannot recommend my stay enough. I'll be looking to come back just as soon as I can. Word to the wise though, if you're over 5'6", some of the doorways might be a little on the small side. Don't let it detract you though as this idyllic house is so worth every minute you spend in it. Thanks again to the amazing hosts.
