Poor communication and underwhelming accommodation

The communication from the owner was dreadful, she never answered mails although chased 3 times and tried to blame vrbo although the emails were to her personal mail. The accommodation is in a great neighbo but is very tatty, there was no bedsheet on our bed there were curtains on broomstick handles in toilets rather than doors and the decoration was poorly done. The whole place had poor quality mismatched furniture one of the bedrooms had a window that would not close as a cable had been run through it there were broom handles rather than curtain poles, there was however lots of tea and coffee, vrbo were unhelpful when chased over the lack of response from owner, I would not use vrbo or this accommodation again very poor on both parts better stick with other similar booking firms
