Situated 30 min drive from Wexford Town, Hilltop Haven Kilmore is a Holiday Home set in the picturesque seaside town of Kilmore. Kilmore Quay (2km away) is a little fishing village with a tiny population filled with wonderfully preserved thatch cottages, a couple of cosy pubs along with some great places to eat.
The property sits on top of a hill with a fabulous view of rural Irish countryside and mountains.
Hilltop Haven Kilmore – Sleeps 5 This 2-bed, beautifully located house offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in Ireland and sleeps 5 guests.
Spacious open plan kitchen and dining area contains all the modern conveniences, including a large American fridge. The dining table seats 6 people. The comfortable living room has an electric fire and a TV. WIFI is also available.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Please note: all the rooms are located on the ground floor; the upstairs section of the house is locked and not available for guests.
2. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
3. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of the year this can increase to €500 per property.
4. In peak season (30th of June – 25th of August) this holiday home only takes Friday-Friday bookings.

Local Area – Bridgetown & Kilmore Villages Bridgetown is located 1.5km northwest, a small rural village in Wexford. This village has a selection of shops including a large Centra, cafe and several traditional pubs.
Kilmore is located 2km south which is home to Mary Barry’s Bar renowned for its extensive menu serving a selection of seafood landed locally in Kilmore Quay.
Hikers can enjoy The Kilmore Quay Walking Trail which is 4.5km long and will take about an hour to complete. The Norman Way starting in Rosslare and ending in New Ross is an ancient trail passing through the Kilmore Quay and takes you to many sites dating back to the Norman invasion.
Located the North of Kilmore Quay, Ballycross Apple Farm is a great attraction for children, where they can meet animals, and try pedal tractors or go-carts. The farm is open from June to November.
Things to See & Do in Wexford A little further afield is the bustling town of Wexford with many shops, restaurants, stunning blue flag beaches and a wide range of activities.
Located 5 miles north of Wexford town is Curracloe Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Ireland. This fabulous beach stretches for over 7 miles with its soft fine sand it is the ideal location for sunbathers and swimmers. There are also several outdoor activities, such as surfing or beach horse riding. Kids will love the annual surfing camps run throughout the holiday periods.
A trip to the Irish National Heritage Park is a must on your visit to Wexford with over 9,000 years of Irish History waiting to be explored.
