Accessible apartments are hard to come by, the owner of this unit has comfortably lived in this apartment for a number of years, he could only move around the apartment in his electric wheelchair and space was made by decluttering the rooms, the bathroom was made as a roll in as he was more comfortable this way as it made him feel more able - with the added shower seat and extra long secondary shower hose he felt it worked well for him. since he had full-time careers the kitchen was never changed. As an avid traveller, he found it impossible to get accessible accommodation in the city without having to book a hotel room for himself and his career. We the decided to keep te apartment for other less abled-bodied guests to have the ability to stay in an apartment instead of two hotel rooms.
