About this property

Holiday house for 6 people in Salar, in the province of Granada, Andalusia.

Upon entering the house we find a living room, which connects with a corridor from which there is access to a bathroom with a shower and two double bedrooms with a double bed.

If we continue down the corridor we reach the kitchen and the pantry area.

Also from the corridor, and through some stairs, you reach the attic, where there is a third bedroom with a double bed and a door that leads to the terrace.

Outside there is an area to relax and enjoy a good read, a large garden area and a wonderful private pool.

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful week at this countryside villa in November. Luckily the house has heating and a wood fire as it was colder than we expected! Our highlights of the property were the amazing view from the balcony where we had drinks every evening and watched the sunset over the hills, as well as the comfy bed which is always a priority for a holiday. It's a shame the weather wasn't hotter when we were there as the pool was very clean and inviting. We did find that the furnishings of the villa were quite dated, and a lot of things were broken like shutters and cupboard doors. The TV is also very old and only has a handful of channels, all in Spanish. It's also worth noting that the property is surrounded by farmland, so it does often have that farm smell and there is a lot of noise of farm animals at night - bring ear plugs! Our hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, and gave us lots of tips for enjoying the area including restaurant recommendations. They also gave us a late check out which was very helpful and appreciated.

Wir haben eine tolle Erfahrung gemacht. Das Haus von Senor Danny und Senora Carmen ist wunderschön, wunderschön gelegen, hygienisch, gepflegt, absolute Privatsphäre, schöner Außenbereich, schöner Swimmingpool in einer wunderbar ruhigen Gegend. Granada ist etwa 40 Minuten entfernt und Malaga etwa eine Stunde. Also ziemlich zentral. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Wir hatten das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu wohnen, wegen der Fürsorge, Gastfreundschaft, Fürsorge und Freundlichkeit der Besitzer. Wir konnten sie immer anrufen und ihnen mit Fragen schreiben und sie wurden sofort beantwortet. Ich wollte unbedingt etwas Olivenöl kaufen, da die Gegend für ihr Öl bekannt ist. Senor Danny begleitete mich zum Produzenten und führte mich auch durch. Hinter dem Haus haben Herr Danny und Frau Carmen einen Gemüsegarten, aus dem wir pflücken durften. Köstliche ökologische Zucchini, Zwiebeln und Kirschen! Wir würden gerne noch länger dort bleiben und haben bereits vereinbart, das nächste Mal das Haus von Senor Danny und Frau Carmen zu mieten. Vielen Dank für die Fürsorge und dafür, dass wir Ihr Haus vermieten.
