Osbeck's beech forests are a well-known beautiful walking area 12 km away. The mountain bike trail is right next to the beach, so Mellbystrand probably has something for everyone.
Mellbystrand is close to many famous places such as Båstad with its tennis week, Ullared and Gekås are 1 hour away by car.
An excursion to Halland's Väderö is a fantastic experience, boats depart from Torekov. Worth mentioning is that here there is an opportunity to visit a world heritage site, namely Grimeton's radio station, 9 miles away.
