The Mountain Forager Cabin is the perfect cabin in the perfect location in the Smokies. It really does have it all. If you are looking for a beautiful cabin where you can get away from your busy life and a cabin right in the middle of all there is to do in the mountains this Mountain Cabin really does offer both. You will feel very secluded yet you are really just minutes from everything there is to do in the area.

This cabin is in the Nantahala Gorge, where within 10 minutes you will find whitewater rafting, zip lining, kayaking, horse back riding, gem mining, canopy tours, mountain bike riding, hiking, fly fishing, fishing on Lake Fontana or boat rentals, the Smoky Mountain Railroad (The Polar Express) and the casino with a bowling alley and an arcade. After a full day of area activities relax on the large front screened porch with a beautiful sunset and a mountain view in the winter or the back deck with gas grill, fire pit, hot tub and a woodsy view.

If you need to relax and get away from your busy life this cabin has a beautiful woodsy setting, a hot tub right out the back door, a grill a fire pit and a beautiful stone fireplace for the perfect relaxing vacation.

The kids and adults will love the Tiki Toss and there is a cornhole game.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need.

Nice roomy cabin

Really enjoyed our stay. Great cabin. Lots of parking. Very cozy. Well stocked. Right across the highway from Nantahala village. Great restaurant for dinner. Do not serve breakfast. Easy drive to Bryson city/ Cherokee and Natl Park and super close to Nantahala river rafting,etc.

Easy to Find Cabin in the woods

My family and I enjoyed our stay at The Mountain Forager Cabin. We had enough room to spend the rainy day inside together and relax. We loved the hot tub! The gas grill worked well. I appreciated the extra towels and other home amenities like cleaning products. The pillows and beds were comfortable. We definitely recommend this Cabin. It is very close to river rafting and Fontana Lake. Close to Bryson City, Deep Creek and so many trails.

GREAT

Exactly as presented with a few extras...Fresh cut flowers greeted us. Location is perfect for attractions in NC and TN. Close enough to amenities provided in local communities so as a run for provisions was no big deal.

Best Bryson vacation 💙

This home was so welcoming and in the perfect location to so many sites we visited. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely return for anitger future vacation in the Smokies.

Nice and cozy

I rented cabin to take my grandchildren to the polar express. The cabin was about10 minutes from train depot. Was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Very nice clean cabin. Family loved our visit and the cabin. Plenty of room for me, 2 of my sons, and their families (3 grandkids).

We love the outdoors and everything our cabin has to offer. I also love the fact that we can offer other people the opportunity to enjoy the total mountain experience.

Why they chose this property

This property is right in the middle of everything in the Bryson City area. We have been vacationing in the mountains and all over the country for many many years and after looking at many homes as soon as we saw this cabin and where it was located we knew it was the one. It just couldn't get any better. There is just so much to do within just a few miles of the Cabin and great food and shopping. This cabin is within 5 to 10 minutes from pretty much everything there is to do in the Smoky Mountains. It really is in the best location possible. Within just a few miles you can go Whitewater Rafting, Zip Lining, Kayaking, Tubing, Paddle Boarding, The NOC, Mountain Bike Riding, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Fishing, Boating & Rentals, Gem Mining, The Appalachian Trail, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Waterfalls, ride the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad.
Also nearby you can also Ride The Tail of the Dragon if you have the need for speed, Visit the Fontana Dam or play some Golf.
You could also got to Cherokee North Carolina 20 minutes for shopping and the Casino, Gatlinburg Tennessee 1 1/2 hours for shopping and good food, Asheville North Carolina 1 hour for shopping great food, culture and the arts.
