18th Century Cornish Cottage located in the popular area of Porth, Newquay. Nook Cottage is situated in a very peaceful countryside location, within a short walking of beautiful Porth Beach, and close to all of Newquay town’s amenities.
Beautifully furnished Nook Cottage can welcome up to six guests with a full kitchen, dining area and living space that includes all modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay
Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms one king-size with a second double plus a modern bathroom including a shower, WC and basin. An additional sofa bed in the lounge can accommodate the final two guests.

Porth Beach is an award-winning Newquay beach with a big stretch of golden sand with turquoise water situated between the town of Newquay and Watergate Bay. The spectacular beach welcomes visitors, locals, and surfers year-round.
Nook Cottage benefits from private parking and an outside seating area in the front courtyard with a summer BBQ area.

Newquay also has some of Cornwall’s finest beaches! Located on Cornwall’s Atlantic Coast the town has previously been voted as “One of the Nation's Favourite Places To Live” and has won Gold for “Best Seaside Towns for Families” by Days Out with the Kids. Newquay’s laid-back charm is here for everyone to enjoy making Nook Cottage a perfect base for a holiday with plenty of shops, cafes, ice cream parlours, fish and chips and of course traditional pasty shops!

Coastal living in Porth as a location, offers the best of both worlds, the feeling of being in and amongst it and away from it all at one and the same time. There are useful daily amenities nearby and it's within easy access of the best beaches, so it's no wonder why Porth is one of Newquay's most sought after and exclusive locations.

My name is Jo, I live in Cornwall on the south coast.
I bought Nook Cottage after having life changing cancer and treatment, I needed a new focus in life. A year was spent lovingly renovating Nook Cottage ready to share with you.
The turquoise sea and golden sand of Porth beach is situated right at the end of the lane. Sea swimming and costal walks are my passion alongside visiting the many local restaurants with their rich variety of locally caught seafood.
I hope you love it as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

Nook Cottage is in a rural setting with a beach at the end of the lane. So for me it was the peace and absolutely calmness that blew me away. The local amenities of Newquay just make it the ideal location to have the best of both worlds, you can have a day shopping, visit vibrant restaurants and bars then have a complete chill out in naturally relaxing surroundings. Adding to this Newquay has 11 beaches the best the UK has to offer.

What makes this property unique

I love staying at Nook Cottage it's cosy, comfortable and oh so functional.I have refurbished it to the highest standard with every detail agonised over. I took a long time thinking about what is needed for home comforts. All the artwork is local I hope you find it interesting. I have made little tech upgrades here and there but non to overpower the original Cornish Cottage charm that first drew me to it such as Smartlocks and a Ring doorbell to make check in as convienient as it can be for you. USB plugs in the sockets upstairs for you to charge your tech. Smart heating to keep the cottage at optimum temperature.
