Upon entering, you’ll marvel at the unique cork floors accented by exquisite woodworking throughout. The bedroom features 1-queen sized sleigh bed and ample closet space. There’s also 1-full bath, a laundry cubby with a stack washer and dryer, a fully equipped galley-style kitchen with newer appliances (including a dishwasher), and a breakfast bar/pass throughout into the living/dining area. Once inside the generous living room, you’ll discover a small bistro table and chairs, a small dining table, and chairs, a queen-sized hide-a-bed, and a wood fireplace insert (firewood not provided) surrounded by a beautifully handcrafted hearth, mantle, and floor-to-ceiling shelving unit with a flat-screen monitor. Snowater is positioned on 20 acres of magnificent forest on the banks of the Nooksack River, which runs on 3 sides of the property. At an elevation of 1000 feet, Snowater is accessible year-round. Amenities include two full recreational buildings with two heated swimming pools, hot tubs, a sauna, four tennis courts, basketball, squash/racquetball courts, and an adult fitness center. There is a lounge area with free WIFI, a pool table, a ping pong table, and a separate toddler playroom. The grounds have BBQ/picnic areas, a children’s play structure, and trails along the river. Snowater is located at the edge of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, close to the Mt. Baker Ski Area and spectacular old-growth forests, an area rich in history and outdoor opportunities.
