Head to the historic university town of Lampeter (5.5 miles), where independent shops and cafes line the streets. If the sea calls, make your way to the colourful harbour town of Aberaeron (17 miles) for fresh seafood and coastal ambience, or visit New Quay (21 miles) to take a boat trip in search of dolphins and enjoy sandy beaches. Nature lovers can escape into the leafy trails of Brechfa Forest (17 miles), ideal for hiking or mountain biking, or visit the Llanerchaeron Estate (16 miles). A trip to Llangrannog Beach (20 miles) is perfect for watching the sunset over the waves at the end of the day.
