A bus stop is just outside the drive and the train station is a 10 minute walk providing links to Newcastle (20mins) and the Metrocentre (10mins) or historic Hexham and Corbridge.
The bike track along Tyne is immediately accessible. A children's park is 5 minutes walk a way. The river, with many beautiful walks and fishing, is a few minutes walk.Nearby attractions include: George Stephenson's cottage (short walk), Cherryburn, Prudhoe Castle, Close House Golf course.
