About this property
Villa del 700 Gli Affreschi di Tiziana
Beautiful historic villa, perfect for lovers of Tuscany’s noble past. Entering this villa is like stepping back in time — during your stay, you might even feel compelled to leave your phones and high-speed Wi-Fi behind in your suitcase.
This is a villa for slowing down, savoring the elegance of relaxation, where time seems to stretch endlessly, carrying you into a splendid past.
The villa dates back to the 1500s and is spread over three floors, with a total surface area of approximately 750 sqm. It offers 7 double bedrooms, 1 single room, and 4 bathrooms, accommodating up to 15 guests in the summer. During the rest of the year, the villa is available excluding the second floor, offering around 500 sqm with 4 double bedrooms, 1 single room, and 3 bathrooms, suitable for up to 9 guests.
The private park is truly spectacular, with centuries-old trees and a private swimming pool. The interiors are spacious and filled with natural light, making it ideal for large groups who still wish to enjoy privacy and comfort.
The outdoor area features a beautiful 20,000-square-meter park, mostly landscaped with English-style lawns and tall trees, including a magnificent centuries-old magnolia. The swimming pool is just a few meters from the house, accessible via a short staircase. The rectangular pool measures 14x7 meters with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2.70 meters, making it suitable for both children’s fun and adults’ relaxation.
The area in front of the villa’s entrance is equipped with tables, chairs, and a portable barbecue—perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners. Private parking is available within the property.
The villa, once owned by noble Pisan families, has undergone various restorations over the centuries, the most significant being in the 1700s, which gave it its current appearance. The interior spaces, enriched with numerous antique pieces and fine rugs, will immerse you in a bygone era.
The villa is spread over three floors. On the ground floor, you'll find an entrance sitting area with armchairs, a large living room with sofas and armchairs illuminated by two large French doors, a dining room, and a spacious, well-equipped masonry kitchen filled with natural light.
A stone staircase leads to the first floor, which features a large living room with a piano and a second sitting room that opens into the sleeping area. This includes: 1 large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower), 1 single bedroom, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bathtub and shower), 2 additional double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, a walk-in wardrobe, and a laundry room (with washing machine, sink, ironing board and iron).
The second floor (open only during the summer season) includes 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with a bathtub.
The Villa is located in a peaceful position on the edge of a small village nestled in the green hills of the Pisan countryside. Surrounded by olive groves and woods, it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.
Its central location makes it easy to reach the art cities of Pisa, Lucca, and Florence in a short time, as well as the Etruscan town of Volterra, San Gimignano, and Siena. For those who wish to spend relaxing days at the beach, the sandy shores of Tirrenia are just a 30-minute drive away. A bit farther (but less than an hour away), you can visit the Versilia coast with its popular towns like Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, and Marina di Pietrasanta. A visit to the thermal baths of Casciana Terme is also highly recommended for a rejuvenating experience. .
