The space
Entirely private designer studio filled with personal design objects and a happy vibe in a rich neighborhood, nestled between Napoleon's Tomb and the Eiffel Tower. Real home. Quiet. Safe. Calm. Gourmet food street and top restaurants nearby. It's a posh hood of embassies, museums, tourists and French old ladies. Studio features a bath tub, compact kitchen, WiFi, dining table. 20 square meters. I live there when not on the road which means my cozy homely space is your's for your stay, and feels like a home not a rental box. It is decorated with my finds traveling the world as a journalist. There is one new double click clac. One single air mattress. One single memory foam mattress. Two single futon mattresses. No storage.
Please note that if you are worried by the odd guest that leaves a 1 star review, it is always the same mechanism. They damage something or trash the place. When they are asked to cover the cost they act out. Three stars are 99 percent people with children selecting my 20 square meter space because they have no budget. In these one star reviews, they are pure defamation but AirBnB supports this behavior. It is exhausting so please do not come here unless you are kind, straight forward and empathetic to someone renting out their own home. It is a lot of work and I am an unpaid reporter as publishing has collapsed, covering my overheads renting out my own bed. I love hosting people. We are not maling à large profit here. Just covering costs.

Welcome to My Home

This is my personal residence, thoughtfully prepared for your stay. I clean thoroughly between guests (2-3 hours), though as a lived-in space, it maintains a warm, authentic character rather than hotel sterility. If anything needs attention, simply let me know and I’ll arrange additional cleaning.

You’ll find my personal belongings in cupboards and curated design pieces throughout - part of the home’s charm. The bottom fridge shelf may contain my items; please feel free to enjoy anything there.

The washing machine is primarily for housekeeping use. Occasionally, you might find my swimwear being laundered after my daily swimming routine - I travel frequently and timing overlaps.

I’ve invested considerable care in creating this space and welcome guests who appreciate authentic Parisian living. My travel schedule depends on bookings, so I seek respectful guests who understand the nature of staying in someone’s actual home.
