Fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with newer sofa sleeper. 5 Minutes to Alexandria. Close to restaurants and event venues. Year-round relaxation. Beautiful views in any season.
Off season rates available from November to May

Boat house has its own dock and fire ring, outside seating.

Cabin is right on the water. Own dock fireside and use of additional dock. Boat lift available.

Terrific property!

Had a super time at the Boat House. Very clean, cozy cabin feel close to the water. Great host communication. Would definitely return! Pretty special property.

Beautiful lake house

Visiting family and stayed for a long weekend. Cabin is cozy and clean with a gorgeous lake view. Owners are next door,they were super friendly and welcoming. Parking is a little tricky with a boat trailer,it’s a very tight turnaround at the end of the street. Had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Delightful stay

We were looking for a quiet get away for a long weekend. Lake Le Homme Dieu Bay Boat House was perfect. Very easy to find, great location with plenty of privacy. The Boat House was everything we were hoping for and more. Beautiful inside. Charming decor. Spacious enough for 2 people, yet cozy. Sweet little surprise waiting for us upon arrival. Gorgeous view from the front porch, the seating area & the dock. Husband was able to fish during the day, and campfires at night. Host greeted us and was very friendly. Shared a few ideas on places to visit, places to eat, and local activities. Also greeted by Harley & Hazel, who were very well mannered. Perfect get away for a couple looking to relax, enjoy sunsets, be on the water and unwind. 5 stars and above rating from us.

Quick Little Getaway

This place was perfect for a quick getaway for my family of 3. Public beach and Zorbaz right down the road helped in limiting our drive time. Fish right off the dock (no casting needed) was just what my 6yr old needed for an evening of entertainment. It was the most quaint place for us!

Wonderful lakeside retreat for two

The owners were very welcoming and provided a lot of helpful info about the area. The cozy cabin was very neat and clean, had most of what you needed for your stay. The cabin had little nooks for relaxing-the screened porch, deck, and the dockside patio gave you great views of the lake while providing an intimate secluded spot . Highly recommend!

Our family has been in the area for over 4 generations! My grandfather built their first cabin here on Lake Le Homme Dieu, my parents owned the Summer Place Resort for 30 years here on the bay and now we are excited to be able to share a little slice of heaven on Lake Le Homme Dieu also with our guests in our lakeside cabin. It is cozy, right at the waters edge and offers a nice front porch and its own separate dock.

Why they chose this property

This cabin is a great end of the road location. Nice and convenient to Alexandria.
Being on the chain gives us the option to enjoy a different boating route at any given time or the opportunity to have a quick lunch or dinner by boat. Any day at the lake is a great day!
