All new Tommy Bahama furniture throughout with matching upholstery, comfortable king Serta ultra-pillow-top bed with 600 thread-count sheets, electronic safe in the bedroom, 38" TV in bedroom, elegant bamboo etched glass in bath, with matching bamboo glass in bedroom and kitchen, new premium plush towels, fully stocked kitchen with NEW appliances, NEW cabinets, NEW quartzite countertops, NEW oversize Bosch washer/dryer 500 series, NEW 60" Smart TV with premium channels, built-in safe, central air, free hi-speed internet, free parking and free long distance phone service to Canada and North America.
You will feel right at home in our condo at Sugar Beach Resort! See the whales during the season from our lanai!
PS....Our resort pool, hot tub and sauna will be closed from September 9th - 19th, 2025 for annual maintenance. Mahalo

"This was our first stay on the Kihei side of Maui and although our 2-week stay in #131 was just last month, I (not usually at a loss for words) felt challenged with how to adequately describe this lovely vacation rental and it’s gracious owner hosts.
Jim & Carol: Genuinely warm and engaging people. Kind and spontaneously thoughtful. Intuitive in knowing just how to make their guests feel cared for - from their friendly communication style to their delightful “welcome baskets” filled with surprising goodies. Simply put, they thought of everything to make our stay something special.
Condo #131: As advertised, and more. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is an obviously well-loved oceanfront property just steps from the sugary beach. Tastefully appointed and beautifully decorated inside and out. Sparkling clean with luxurious accommodations complimented by a cozy atmosphere. Thoughtfully stocked with everything imaginable for the perfect stay in paradise. Which is exactly what we had!
Jim & Carol, Thank You for entrusting your lovely condo to us. We treated it tenderly as if it were our own, and we eagerly look forward to a repeat stay in the future. "

We are 2 school teachers from New Jersey, who fell in love with Sugar Beach Resort back in 1994, while summer vacationing here on Maui. We retired and followed our dreams to move to this beautiful island 20 years ago, in the Maui Lani development. We then had the opportunity to purchase unit #131, which has made our retirement complete! We spent 6 months completely renovating #131. We presently enjoy our beach-front condo with family and friends. We want to extend the enjoyment of our condo with you, as our upcoming guest! We paddle with Kihei Canoe Club. You are invited to experience outrigger canoe paddling with us, while you are on our island, when the sport is reinstated by the County. It is an awesome Hawaiian cultural experience that you will never forget!
Why they chose this property
The dry, dessert-like climate of Kihei is what inspired us to visit and eventually purchase #131, on this beautiful southern-side of the island. The bright sunny blue skies and lack of afternoon clouds and rainfall is what encouraged us to settle on this part of the picturesque island of Maui. After coming from New Jersey, where the rain and snow is plentiful, the climate here in Kihei was an amazing and welcome change in environment!
