Classic Maine cabin
The property is nice and well-maintained. The property manager is very responsive and they were able to resolve a water leak issue within a few hours. Stairs to the water are steep and pretty long, so not a good choice if you have any problems with mobility, but a nice dock when you get there!
Fell in Love
this cabin is perfect. the size, the thoughtful decorations which didn’t overwhelm and the furnishings. we loved the screened in porch and the breezes we encountered while there. the walk down to the river is long but we loved the adventure. we sat on the nice composite deck which stable and comfortable to hang out on for hours. watching the boats go by and friendly folks waving was heaven. we even saw a loon which popped up directly in front of us with a fresh catch. homeowners quick to respond to questions. only recommendation would be a few wine glasses 😉 as it’s a great place to raise a glass. the cold mugs in the freezer were much appreciated. so grateful to have had the opportunity to explore this beautiful area and have such a wonderful place to call home for a few days. next time we will stay longer !!
Beautiful, remote cabin with waterfront access. Loved the kayaks and the peaceful setting!
Moose River Retreat
Great experience, cabin was exactly as pictured and described (and more!), owners were very responsive and great to work with. We had a wonderful time!
The cabin was awesome! The property was very clean, owners provide everything you could need plus some and were quick to respond to any questions we had. Very peaceful setting right on the Moose River and close to several quaint towns. We highly recommend this property and we look forward to coming back again for another vacation!
The cabin. Perfect. The locals. Perfect. The 22 moose we saw. Perfect. my daughter and I loved everything about our trip
