The detached and comfortably furnished holiday home is situated next to the forest on the edge of the village Battenhausen. The village is located approx. 18 km south of Bad Wildungen and offers offers real quiet and recreation. Enjoy the the magnificent panoramic view from the terrace in the large garden, or end the day after an entertaining excursion with a glass of wine by the fireplace. In both winter and summer, you can choose from a wide range of sports and leisure opportunities. You only have to walk 200 metres to reach the 156-km long, well-known Kellerwaldsteig that runs directly past the house. Hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers came to the right place as they've found their ideal holiday destination in this unique landscape.
Worthwile destinations include Bad Wildungen with its mine site, Europe's largest spa gardens, the baroque Friedrichstein Castle or a hiking tour to the Homberg mountain.

De ontvangst was geweldig. De eigenaar had koffie gemaakt met gebak bij en een lekker flesje wijn klaar gezet. De hout kachel is echt super. De bedden zijn ook heel goed om in te slapen. De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig. Oneindig veel wandelmogelijkheden. Enige minpuntje is de badkamer die wat ruimer en lichter mag zijn. De rest is werkelijk super en voor herhaling vatbaar. Weekje Paasvakantie in Battenhausen

We genoten van een goed ingericht huisje, met gezellige houtkachel. Het onthaal door de eigenaar was zeer hartelijk met koffie en gebak. In de omgeving zijn veel mooie wandelingen te doen. Wij hadden onze hond mee en vonden het wat jammer dat de tuin niet hondveilig omheind was, zodat we haar daar niet konden los laten lopen. Maar voor de rest alles super in orde!

Sehr netter Gastgeber. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und urig eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden um eine schöne Woche im Blockhaus zu verbringen. Alles rundum gut. Auch die Nachbarschaft ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Lieve gastheer (Harry) die je opwacht met koffie en gebak en een gedetailleerde uitleg doet over hoe alles werkt vwb het huisje en wat er zoal te doen is in de regio. Het dorpje is erg rustig en ligt vlak aan het bos. Ideaal voor wandelaars met huisdieren. Uitgestrekte graslanden afgewisseld door bossen domineert dit gebied. De omliggende buren zijn vriendelijk en altijd in voor een praatje Op 20 minuten rijden rondom de locatie is genoeg te doen, met name rondom de Edersee. Fietsen, kanoën, boot huren en natuurlijk wandelen. Dichtsbijzijnde plaats om boodschappen ed te doen is Bad Wildungen hier bevinden zich de wat uitgebreidere detailhandel en een mooi binnen en buiten zwembad. Op 50 minuten ligt de grotere stad Kassel. De locatie zelf heeft een ruime tuin en is van alle gemakken voorzien behalve een wasmachine. Het contact met de eigenaar is goed. Al met al een prima locatie voor een rustige vakantie.

Vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar met koffie en gebak. Hij had veel tips voor leuke uitstapjes in de omgeving. Het huisje is gezellig ingericht, een beetje traditioneel, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.
