Enjoy a secluded lake front cabin on beautiful Table Rock Lake in Shell Knob, Missouri. You'll drive to the cabin, thru a tree covered road for about 1 mile and then on a private gravel road for 1/4 mile. The cabin has two comfortable queen beds in one bedroom, and a comfortable full bed in a bedroom, sleeping six. If you need them there are two sleeper sofas in the great room, plus two auto blow-up mattresses, which provides sleeping places for eight plus. It has a full kitchen with a ton of space for all your groceries, two full bathrooms, 2 TV's, a washer and dryer, and dishwasher. Its hidden, but conveniently located maybe a mile from the grocery store, an antique & liquor store and the local restaurants in town. It is approximately 45 minutes to Silver Dollar City, Dog Wood Cannon, Roaring River State Park, Golden Pioneer Museum and Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The outside space has amazing views of the Lake and Shell Knob Bridge. Guests have commented they enjoyed eating and drinking coffee on the deck sitting in the glider or at the table that seats eight. The Shell Knob bridge is a popular boating destination on the lake and its fun watching all the boaters and skiers go by, in addition to the fishermen. Just below the deck is more seating with a fire pit. Sometimes all you need is a little lake time with a fire. The Tablerock Lake is noted as #1 in the nation because the Federal Corp of Engineers maintains ultimate care of the environment. Therefore, you can dock a boat at Campbell Point (campbellpointmarina.com), or Kings River (kingsrivermarina.com), which are 5 - 10 minutes from the cabin, and very convenient. The marinas are full service and offer boat/jet ski rentals, boat slip rentals, swimming on very nice sandy beaches, fishing and wonderful restaurants out on the lake during summer months. The Hideaway is on its own well water. Sometimes people find they don't care for the taste of well water so it's not a bad idea to bring some drinking water. But hey, the grocery store is less than a mile away if you decide you want bottled water, I've even had guests walk through the tree covered entry road to the grocery. We allow ONE pet with your stay (including pet rent). Your pet MUST come with a kennel. There are 2 permanent residencts year-round on the gravel road, and 4 courteous neighbors with summer homes, whose guests use the seperate and adjacent properties to the cabin. Thanks for checking out the HideAway. Please feel free to contact me with any questions so I can help provide you with a wonderful vacation in the Ozarks for your family and guests.
