Ook met wat slechter weer kun je lekker droog buiten zitten. De bbq was super. Openluchtmuseum Eynderhoof is een aanbeveling. Door vrijwilligers worden allerlei ambachten uitgeoefend (let wel op de openingstijden). Op donderdag is het marktdag in Valkenswaard. Bespaar je de moeite om naar kasteel Cranendonck te rijden. Er ligt alleen wat fundatie.

Het is een eenvoudig ingericht huis met een prachtige tuin. Er is genoeg bestek, servies en kookgerei, alles eenvoudig, maar kompleet. Het was prachtig weer, dus we hebben het hele weekeinde in de tuin doorgebracht met BBQ, grasveld en wtee overdekte terassen. In de omgeving kan je prachtig fietsen. De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en zeer soepel tegenover de gasten. Er staan 5 tweepersoonsbedden in drie slaapkamers. Eventueel kunnen de bedden omgebouwd worden tot eenpersoonsbedden. Kortom, perfect voor een gezellig verblijf met een groep tot tien personen.

Wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön, mit Charme und Charakter eingerichtet und hat vor allem einen schönen Garten mit einer tollen Verweilmöglichkeit. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett, hat uns alles gezeigt und uns sogar frische Eier von Ihren Hühnern für das Frühstück gegeben. Wir fanden es sehr gut als Gruppe junger Männer so ein Vertrauen und Respekt entgegen bekommen zu haben. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich bei der Menge an Ferienhäuser, die in erster Linie ausschließlich Familien tolerieren, die am besten auch noch so leise wie möglich sein sollten. Wir konnten hier zumindest ausgiebig feiern und Spaß haben. Hinfahren würde ich definitiv wieder! Die Anbindung nach Eindhoven mit dem Bus ist auch sehr gut. Man läuft ca. 10 Minuten zur Bushaltestelle und kann stündlich in die Stadt kommen. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 35 Minuten.
