About this property

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF TRANSITIONING THIS RENTAL HOME TO A NEW PROPERTY MANAGER, AND THEREFORE ARE NO LONGER TAKING RESERVATIONS

Nestled in old growth pine trees, the ambiance is one of seclusion. Wind along the short driveway and you will arrive at your Breckenridge home, 6 miles south of town. Featuring 2 bedrooms, a bonus bunk room, and a large additional TV room on the lower level, this newly redecorated home comfortably sleeps 6 guests - the maximum allowed per our licensing. The vaulted living room and picture windows look out to the west with mountainside views. The kitchen is well equipped to allow for family and group gatherings around the large dining table.

A tranquil mountain retreat with its own babbling brook running through the property. Roast s'mores at the fire pit during the summer months (sorry, it will be buried in plenty of powder in the winter!)

The house has 3 levels -
Ground level - entry / garage / TV room .... upstairs half level to:
Mid level - full bathroom, plus washer/dryer ... upstairs half level to:
Main level - living room / kitchen / queen bedroom / Bunk room (twin over full bunk bed) / bathroom with shower / laundry & bathroom with shower / west facing outside deck with patio furniture and BBQ grill / east facing deck with hot tub .... upstairs to:
Upper level - Master with king bed / master bathroom with separate shower and toilet plus large jetted tub. Small deck off master bedroom.

There are 2 security cameras at the front of the house - these face the garage door/key pad and the parking/yard areas.

This home requires a vehicle - the driveway can be covered in snow from October into May. During winter months we strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle or 2WD with snow/winter tires.

Staph Infected Hot tub!

Our stay started off wonderful, Great house and beautiful scenery. The property manager was fast responding but was not the most professional. We had accidentally left the garage door open and received a rude message. Also had footprints all around the house from “their snow shovelers”. It was weird since nothing around the whole back side of the house needed shoveled, or many of the other areas. We used the hot tub one time. Over the course of our few days there I started developing a bad rash. Once I returned home, I went to urgent care and turns out I had contracted Staph Infection from the surface of the hot tub after sending in labs. I contacted the host and their response was not great. Overall, pretty house, but not worth dealing with the host, people walking all around the house, or the staph infection.

Excellent home

We loved our stay in this home. Everything was as described and the house was in great shape. There was plenty of room with all the bedrooms, deck space and entertainment room. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the basics (and then some) you might want. The backyard firepit and stream were a nice added bonus. Location was perfect to feel in the wild outside of town but still close enough for easy access.

Great stay!

Everything about this house was great! About a 10 minute drive to Breck but far enough outta town you’re out of the hustle and bustle. Very well appointed if you like to cook at home and a 2 car heated garage, that was awesome too. Great communication with the property manager and was even offered a later checkout. Five stars would definitely book again.
