Stay in your own private studio cottage on Lake Martha, a quiet lake (non-motorized or electric motor boats only). Summer swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, biking, and year round fishing. We are located 50 miles north of downtown Seattle, near Kayak Point county park and disc golf course, Warm Beach, Camano Island, Tulalip Casino and Seattle Premium Outlet Mall. Close to annual events such as the Tulip Festival, Port Susan Snow Goose & Birding Festival and Lights of Christmas.
A separate cozy 200 sq.ft. studio cottage with garden view. Lovingly decorated with modern solid maple furniture, super comfy Sleep Number bed with memory foam mattress topper, fluffy down alternative pillows & comforter and European duvet cover. Outfitted with a Keurig coffee maker, small fridge and microwave for your convenience and a small table & 2 chairs. Shower over bathtub, sink and toilet in bathroom. TV with free Netflix and Amazon Prime movies and a few books should you wish to read during your stay. A folding laptop desk is available by request. BBQ grill on cottage porch for guest's exclusive use. Our property is not wheelchair accessible.
You have your own private cottage with garden view. Full access to lake via private steps to lakefront lawn, fire pit, dock and lake.
PLEASE NOTE: Guest access to the lake area is reached via a private path with approximately 60 stairs to the lake without a hand rail (see photos). Please consider your physical fitness for the steep incline when you are making your reservation.
Guests are welcome to use our kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat (seasonal). Plenty of room to keep your bikes, canoe, paddle boards or kayaks on the premises! We love our guests and want to share our beautiful surroundings with you!
We respect each guest’s need for privacy, rest and relaxation, but we are available anytime for you. You can call or text us, or just come up to the main house and ring the doorbell!
We have two 120+ pound Giant Schnauzers, Luna and Stella. They were both rescued from deplorable living conditions. Luna is our social butterfly and loves to interact with our guests, but Stella is still in her social cocoon (she is scared of strangers). They may alert bark at first sight (that's their only "job") but they are friendly. They spend most of their days inside the main house with us, with a few potty breaks outside. During the summer months, we may take them down to our lakefront for some playtime and swim.
My partner, Jason, is a 2nd generation professional glassblower and is usually out in his studio working. Our guests are welcome to pop in to say “hi” and watch him crafting glass... If you are feeling adventurous, please let us know in advance and we can arrange for a one-on-one beginner glassblowing lesson for you with Jason (at a nominal fee). You will get to take home a piece YOU created! Or, for those less adventurous, you can order a custom piece and watch Jason make it for you!
