About this property

Trail's End Stay is an 'unplugged' country guest house with great views & peacefulness! We have been away for two years and are excited to host traveling guests again this fall. Please watch as we update photos and confirm rates. We will be accepting reservations in just a couple weeks.
You will find rest and relaxation with a big yard, bird watching, and walking trails. You may also enjoy many outdoor activities being situated right on the Cheese Country Trail- walking or biking distance to town less than 30 min. Bring your ATV if you wish & meet your friends! We are only one mile from small town quaintness of Mineral Point shopping, dining and tourism. (Please see note re internet, it is not guaranteed)

Relaxing!

Beautiful location! Very clean! Had everything we needed to enjoy a quiet weekend away. Owners had it smelling so welcoming, and were helpful & quick to communicate!

A Peaceful Retreat

My wife and I needed a couple of days of quiet, away from the to-do lists and our busy daily lives. I can't imagine a better place. Our only visitors were wildlife. We read, hiked, and walked into town. The place is clean, modern, and welcoming. A huge thanks for all the small touches. They are noticed!

Lovely cottage in the country

Jo’s cottage was the perfect jumping off point for all our activities in the Driftless! Hiking and swimming at Gov. Dodge and Wildcat Mountain State Parks, bike ride on the Military Ridge trail, antiquing in the little towns in the region, and enjoying all Mineral Point has to offer, especially friendly and accommodating artisans! The cottage itself was a delight — spotlessly clean and perfect for the two of us to enjoy gentle breezes, gorgeous sunsets, and visits from wildlife, including the deer who appeared several mornings. We greatly enjoyed the treats Jo thoughtfully left for us and hope to return some day soon!

Property is beautiful and secluded.

Cute and clean house on a beautiful setting. Even though owners are next door we hardly knew they where there.
