Cottage in CHINON for 6 people in the hamlet of ST LOUANS.
Old stable, entirely renovated in keeping with the architecture of Tours, in tufa stone. It is composed on the ground floor of a large living room, equipped with a kitchen fitted with a dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. The living room includes a convertible sofa, two armchairs and a TV with DVD player. The bathroom is fitted with a corner shower, a washbasin and a washing machine. The toilets are independent. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each furnished with a 140 bed and a 90 bed. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue. Internet is available via a free WIFI network. The rental has a parking space in an enclosed courtyard shared with another cottage. Animals are not allowed.
Saint Louans is located 1 km from the medieval town of Chinon. In the heart of the Loire Valley, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, visit the castles of Rigny-Ussé, Langeais, Azay-le Rideau ... Very beautiful sites like Montsoreau, Cande St Martin, Fontevraud Abbey, the house of Rabelais… It is a region very rich in vineyards and cellars. Come and taste the different wines of Touraine. Enjoy a moment of relaxation by cycling along the Loire paths, the hiking trails and the boat trips on the Vienne or the Loire.
The BEAUVAL ZOO is 100 km and 1 hour 15 minutes by car, the FUTUROSCOPE is 80 km and 1 hour 15 minutes, and the PUY DU FOU is 120 km and 2 hours.

A quiet, well presented comfortable property

The property was accurately described regarding its location and amenities. It is in a quiet village close to Chinon. It was very clean and well presented with all instructions given by the owner on arrival. We were able to contact the owner if required at any time. We would certainly recommend this property to our friends and relatives. We enjoyed the town of Chinon and many beautiful villages, wineries and chateaux in the local area.

Charming and peaceful home outside of Chinon

This house was a perfect base for our exploration of the Loire Valley. We enjoyed the complete peace and quiet at night and all the thoughtful touches that the owner provided, including good lighting throughout the house and a very well-stocked kitchen. It was only a ten-minute drive from Chinon and located in beautiful countryside. You will need a car. Just a few things to be aware of: the toilet is located downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs. It wasn't a problem for us but it might matter to you. The driveway is extremely narrow and takes some getting used to. Also, it would help if you spoke some French. These aren't criticisms, just observations.

Excellent week-end, gîte conforme à la description. Propriétaire arrangeante pour l'heure de départ car faisant le marathon nous ne pouvions pas le rendre à l'heure prévue. Merci pour vôtre accueil et peut-être à l'année prochaine
