About this property

Adirondack Lake House Ideal for Summer & Fall Foliage: Lakefront & Amazing Views

Beautiful Adirondack style, year round 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, three floors, waterfront home on Crescent Lake in the 'Oldest Summer Resort in America.' One-acre lot with gently sloping lawn, 125 ft. of waterfront & crystal clear water, within walking distance of downtown Wolfeboro. Fantastic scenery complete with sandy beach area and dock for great swimming, fishing, boating, and pond skating in winter months. Main floor master suite includes custom jet tub and over sized shower with shared field-stone fireplace to great room. Open concept kitchen and great room includes multiple comfortable seating with water views from all windows, stocked appliances, dining and peninsula area seating, and large screened porch. Second floor includes two bedrooms and full bathroom. Brand new renovation to ground floor includes second master bedroom, living space with 55" tv and seating with bar area and gas fireplace, new rainwater tiled shower and full sized bathroom with laundry.
Mahogany decking is 800 sq. ft. No Pets or Smokers!

Lake details : Our lake house is located on Crescent Lake, a quiet lake big enough for any activity such as water skiing, fishing, swimming and boating. The lake may have only 1-2 other boats on it at any one time making for plenty of room. Canoeing, kayaking can be done safely and without constant wakes from motorboats screaming past. There are no 'cigarette boats' allowed! An evening row in the canoe or rowboat with a bottle of wine and a cigar is a real treat. So is the possibility of morning water skiing on super flat water with no one else to prevent your best moves. Fall and winter provide robust fishing (both open and ice). A smaller lake that provides all the benefits without the noise and numbers! In contrast, is the huge Lake Winnipesaukee easily accessible within 5 minutes walking distance and provides lots of additional activity. The Mount Washington motor ship and the Judge Sewall both ply the waters of the entire lake.

Golf details: Kingswood Golf Course is located right in Wolfeboro and is a private/public course with great views and solid golfing conditions. The public is welcome without any snobbery and is a friendly atmosphere. Several other courses in the area also provide great golf and are open to the public.
Lake Winnipesaukee Club is a very exclusive club located on the top of a nearby mountain. Ridgewood C.C. only 25 minutes by car.

A Hidden Gem
What a great house! What a great location! First, the house! Very spacious and easy for couple families to be together with plenty of space. Being together... nice open kitchen and living area, screen porch, back yard and fire pit (smores did happen). Lots of space... multiple bedrooms on multiple floors and multiple bathrooms and laundry rooms were all key to accommodating both our families and children. The location! We spent many hours jumping off the backyard dock into Crescent lake. Of course, the town center is very close by car for lunch, ice cream or groceries. And, on busy days, walking was also easy and convenient. We walked to town a couple times on July 4th -- just 10 minutes to the parade in the morning and then again to the fireworks over Lake Winnipesaukee that night. What a wonderful week. Thank you Lynne for sharing your home with us!

Could not recommend more!
This lake front property was the best we've ever stayed in! Tucked away, beautiful views, walkable/bikeable into town, comfortable beds, clean open spaces for gathering as a growing family- worked beautifully for a family of adults and one and three year old little ones! The deck was beautiful and so many outdoor locations to enjoy the lake. Our communication with our host was amazing. LOVED our time. LOVED this location. Could not recommend more!!!

Amazing!
We had four generations with us. It was perfect for all of us. The home, yard and lake were great. The proximity to town, while still being a very private location was awesome. We are hoping to be back next summer!

A local resident of Wolfeboro, NH for the past 35 years. My husband and I actually live right in the town where the lake house is located so we are available for ideas and taking care of any problems that might arise.

Why they chose this property

We love Wolfeboro - what can we say. It is a throw-back town, in that it is the way 'life used to be.' A small New England village with a lot to do.

What makes this property unique

You get a thoughtfully built Lake house with all the amenities, on a quiet lake that is big enough to do anything you want but private enough to be able to hear the loons cry, in a town that is picturesque and has that village feel, and still have a ton to do because the big lake [Lake Winnipesaukee] is 3 minutes away if you like to dabble in more 'action' all only two hours from Boston and 1 hour from Portsmouth, NH.
