This recently fully renovated 3 bedroom 3 full bathroom (1 tub) top floor villa is conveniently located in the tranquil east beach section of the island and in the preserved Park Side community. This Villa's location, which is adjacent to the Night Heron Park, Night Heron Pool, Nature Center and the Five Star Sanctuary Hotel makes for an ideal location to partake in island activities and dining options. This villa's short walk or bike ride to Kiawah's pristine beach makes it preferred for beach lovers. The resort's complimentary shuttle service will afford visitors transportation to all points and amenities of the island, including the Roy Barth Tennis Center, one of the numerous golf courses, including the 2012 & 2021 Host of the PGA Championship, The Ocean Course, as well as the many restaurants located on the island.

Great location for beach, pool, activities
The villa was very comfortable for a family with each bedroom having an attached bathroom. The location was perfect, easy bike ride to beach, Night Heron pool, and The Sanctuary.

Kiawah PGA Championship week
We were 3 couples and the en-suite bathrooms worked out great for all of us. There was plenty of space to relax after are long days and we all enjoyed spending our time there. 4 stars for cleanliness because we were unable to use the outside screened in porch because of pollen time of year. The villa itself was great.

Beware of this listing!
Where to begin? When we arrived we were greeted with the overpowering smell of mold/mildew and discovered that two of the three air vents in the living room were COVERED in mold. I’ve never seen anything like it. We called the Resort and they came out to treat the mold; the vents had to be replaced they were so bad. The maintenance guy explained that the mold is the result of people setting the thermostat too low. Which leads me to our biggest issue with the property/the owner: we had ZERO control over the thermostat in the unit. The owner has a Nest and has it locked so the temperature can’t be changed. It was set to a range of 68 to 70, which was way too cold for us (and I’m sure caused the mold issues). When I politely messaged the owner about it, he would either not respond at all or give me attitude (or, once, turned the HEAT on). I kept trying to explain that we wanted it set at 74, which was better for him because it would mean the unit would be on less, but he either didn’t understand me or he didn’t understand his Nest app. We called the resort twice to complain and they were horrified and said they would contact the owner right away but nothing ever came from that. We had other annoyances as well, including a late-night incessant battery low chirp from the smoke detector. Overall, we had a nice trip to Kiawah but it would have been much better if we’d chosen another rental.

Lovely condo in beautiful area
Such pretty updated decor, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding. Not a long walk to the beach and close to a market. We had a wonderful time!
