You'll love watching the breathtaking sunrise over the Chesapeake Bay from your Spacious Private Porch in this One-of-a-Kind Waterfront apartment. Pets are welcome! With Panoramic Waterfront Views from the Bedroom, Bathroom, Living Room, Kitchen and Dining area you can enjoy the view from inside as well as outside. Relax at night watching the moon rise slowly and drift across the Bay, have your morning coffee and conversation with one of the wild deer families visiting the yard (they're very good listeners). It's amazing to watch them enjoy the fresh grass and then magically disappear into the nearby marsh grass or woodlands with out a sound. You won' t find a place like this anywhere else on the Virginia Peninsula. It's nestled on a private wooded waterfront lot between a 475 Acre Nature Preserve and a 3,500 Acre National Wildlife Refuge with Abundant Wildlife everywhere. Chesapeake Bay Water Views surround three sides and the large backyard looks across the to the bay entrance and Atlantic Ocean. We are centrally located between VA Beach and the Williamsburg / Yorktown area, but with so much to see and explore in Historic Hampton you may never want to leave. Since this private apartment is located on the second floor of our home you and your loved ones will not be in an overcrowded resort. Doggie Family Members Are Welcome! Our recently built new house is on a peninsula surrounded by the water of the Chesapeake Bay with Views of the Ocean. This second floor apartment has a private entrance, oven, refrigerator/freezer, full size washer/dryer and your own Spacious Private Porch to enjoy the sunrise, wildlife, moonlight and stars. The bedroom offers a comfy queen size bed with linens and pillows provided.. The private bath is in a hall adjacent to the living room and bedroom. LOTS of closet space throughout. The Living room has a comfy queen size memory foam sofa bed and also has a 55' HD flat screen TV with a with YOUTUBE TV on demand cable and network channels, NETFLIX on demand, & DVD player.
High Speed Wireless Internet is available anywhere inside and on the porch. Dining area has room to seat 4.
If you are a former guest looking for the Youngs you've found us! Doggie Family Members are still more than welcome! We have an incredible secluded waterfront wooded lot with water views on three sides and dense woodlands surrounding us as well as views of 2 nature preserves.

Great spot for hiking and kayaking

We felt very comfortable staying with our dogs there and had great access to hiking in beach side nature preserves plus literally kayaking from the property shoreline. Gorgeous water view.

Very Beautiful Area

The appartment was beautiful and very clean and the owners were super nice. Thank you! If you are staying there is a restaurant that was awesome and had good Music called Vanguard.

Beautiful, quiet, and comfortable

I loved the long road back to the neighborhood. The frogs at night, and lots of wild life to view from the personal deck. Previous reviews said lots of steps, there are two sets of stairs, one to the front door and another inside to the apartment. The owner Kimberly had treats and toys for the dogs. They had a fenced in yard for their dogs, however we didn't use it, our dogs would have escaped from it to chase the pet bunny, squirrels, and deer. We watched the neighbor feed the deer every morning around 7am, watch for ticks on your pets. And listened for the F22s fly over everyday. We enjoyed Buckroe beach, and sandy bottom nature park for walks. We ate at Dead Rise on the Fort Monroe Island for lunch one day. We went over to Norfolk one day, most places are closed Mon and Tues otherwise we preferred Hampton and Newport News areas.

Fabulous weekend in spite of Hurricane Ian!

Great property! Loved the use of the kayaks at the house. Went out on water three times during our stay. First day was rainy, but we enjoyed the multitude of channels provided. Second day was gorgeous and we had a fabulous day on the water. Owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely stay here again.
