Good condo, great property.

We had stayed at Bonita Village quite a few years ago with our kids and absolutely loved it. We stayed in a 3 bedroom at the time and it was 5 star. This time, entering the condo there was what we thought an odour as if someone that lived there was a smoker. We emailed the property manager on checked n (Saturday) and finally heard back from them Tuesday. At that point we decided it was too late to try and move to another condo so stayed there. Over the week we either grew accustomed to the odour or it faded somewhat. Still do not know if it was a smoking odour or something else. This particular was quite nice except for the perceived odour, but not a top pick for us. The condo property itself is awesome. Great pool area to hang out and close to everything. Impeccably maintained. Even though the Groggy Frog was closed for the season during our visit, the shutters were often opened and chairs available as they were showing potential buyers the property. In our opinion, it would be great if the shutters were always opened during the day as it made the pool area that much nicer. We will almost certainly book here again but will be choosing what we hope is one of the nicer units. Check the reviews!

Just the basics.

Condo was clean and nice overall but had just the basics. No change of sheets for the beds, basic kitchen items, (normally not a problem but one of our weeks was spent in isolation due to pandemic) only 3 beach towels that I assume had been left by previous renters. “Tiki Bar” served only beer and wine and was not well stocked. Location was excellent. Furniture a little “tired”. Just expected a little nicer for the price.
