Awesome, clean, relaxing condo perfect for winter and summer adventures.
About Julie King
We have been going to Crested Butte for over 25 years and love it. I went to Western State College in Gunnison and always wanted to have a place in CB so we can enjoy it with our girls who are now 7 and 10. We love mountain biking, skiing and hiking as a family and our favorite adventures are always in the CB area. Our favorite places to ski on the mountain are the North Face, Headwall and the Phoenix Bowl. In the summer we love to mountain bike 401 and take the girls on the lower loop while they're learning to ride single track. Crested Butte is truly like home to us and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Great location. Very clean property. Julie is an awesome host and very attentive to detail.
Thank you Jamie for the kind words. I'm so glad you enjoyed the condo and hope to see you again.
My husband and I came to Crested Butte to mountain bike, hike and enjoy the fall colors. We were a little early for it this year, but it was still beautiful.
The condo was wonderful. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved it's location to the ski area and bus stop. Thanks Julie for an enjoyable time!
(Julie, this was totally out of your control and we have no issues with it, but I just thought you might like to know.......they were resealing the asphalt when we arrived and it was difficult to find parking for a couple days. Also, the fire alarm went off the evening of our arrival. The fire dept, police and maintenance man arrived very quickly to resolve the issue....it was something in the maintenance room.)
Thank you for letting us use your condo for a great trip!
We're so glad you had a great time. The fall colors are starting a little late this year, but they are definitely starting to come out strong now. The HOA at our building is very good about keeping things clean and up to date. Glad to hear they were sealing the parking lot, but sorry it made parking a little tight for a day or two. We're also glad to hear that they were so quick to respond when there was an issue in the maintenance room at the complex. Hope to see you again soon! Julie & Lance
Clean, comfortable and convenient. The condo had everything we needed. Nice furnishings great TVS and channels.
So happy you liked it! We love watching HGTV when we're in the mountains. Seems like it's the only time we have time to watch! ;-) Hope to see you again. Julie
Great little condo for a good price
This condo is in a great spot, being next to the lifts. If you are staying to attend the bike park however, it is a 2 or 3 minute drive to the parking lot, as only the Red Lady Express Lift is running in the summer for the bike park. Overall great room though!
Thanks Luke, so glad you liked the condo. You have a great point on the Westwall lift, that and Peachtree only run in the winter. Usually to get to the base area we take the 0.3 mile, 6 min walk up Snowmass Rd (which is 2-3 minutes on a bike) or the free bus that stops right outside the condo will take you and your bike up there, and it's all downhill on the way back. ;-) Hopefully that will help if you decide to come back and stay with us again next summer. Hope to see you again. Julie & Lance
Summer in Crested Butte
We had a great time.
Ideal Condo To Enjoy All That Crested Butte Had To Offer
The condo is the perfect location to take advantage of Crested Butte and the surrounding area. The condo was supplied with everything you need to enhance your stay. Julie was very helpful by providing information about hikes, scenic drives and her favorite "local" food establishments prior to our arrival. She is quick to respond to your questions and helped make our stay in Crested Butte very memorable.
Our condo is located right on the ski mount in Crested Butte, CO. It is a short 100 yard walk to the West Wall lift, honestly shorter even than the hike from the Grand Lodge to the Red Lady Lift. Mt. Crested Butte is known for amazing skiing and some of the steepest extreme skiing in North America, but it comes to life in the summer too. There is a ton of lift served downhill mountain biking, an adventure camp at the base area with zip lines, jump bags, rock climbing, bungee tramps, and more. There are festivals and free concerts throughout the summer not to mention all of the outdoor activities you can imagine. Crested Butte is the birthplace of mountain biking and the trails are amazing from gentle dirt fire roads to extreme single track. Personally we love riding up past the town of Gothic toward Schofield pass to Emerald lake and back down the world famous 401 trail. Crested Butte is the Wildflower Capital of Colorado and they carpet the hillsides in the summer. The Wildflower Festival takes place every summer in early July. There are great restaurants both on the mountain like The Avalanche or Butte 66 or in the town of Crested Butte such the Brick Oven, Donitas or The Last Steep. Our kids love going to Third Bowl (ice cream) and The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and there are tons of pubs and watering holes for the adults as well. There are many shops at the mountain and in town offering all sorts of ski gear, biking gear, outdoor gear, etc, as well as all sorts of shops offering all sorts of "stuff". There are street fairs almost every weekend on main street all summer, a chili cookoff, wine festival and of course the Vinotok Festival every fall to bring a good snow season and shed bad vibes highlighted by the burning of the grump. We have loved Crested Butte for over 25 years and are so happy to now own a small part of it and be able to offer it to you to enjoy as well.
