About this property

Rear cottage on property located midway between ocean beach and bay beach (which includes kids' playground and fishing dock). Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Two bedrooms -- one with queen-size bed, one with twins -- plus fold-out queen-size couch in living room. Combined living room-dining room-kitchen, plus enclosed porch with dining table. Indoor full bath plus enclosed outdoor shower. Dishwasher. Central Air. Cottage was restored after Hurricane Sandy to replicate its original mid-century look. Parking in on the street but there will be driveway access for loading and unloading.

Down the Shore

Lavallette is a family town, with plenty of shops and great places to eat. The beaches are beautiful and clean. This bungalow is a block in from the bay and 3 blocks from the beach. There is a park at bayside, with a beautiful view of sunset. This is a "back house" so you need to park on the street. Since I was there off season, parking wasn't an issue. The bungalow itself it cute, ground level, tile floor, 2 BD, open LR to KT floor plan. Kitchen & bath were newer and in great shape. Comfortable couch, TV with cable & internet services available. I would have appreciated a new outdoor light for when coming home after dark. I enjoyed my stay at this bungalow.

I grew up on this property and now reside four blocks away, using this as a rental home. It's an example of the Lavallette of yesteryear: a small but charming cottage with just what a couple or family might need for a shore vacation: indoor living space, screened in porch for dining and lounging, enclosed outdoor shower. House has a lot of memories for hopefully will generate more good memories for you.
