Nestled amongst the rocks, this home is a stones throw from the beautiful Thunder Mountain trail system. The neighborhood is peaceful and welcoming with the Amitabha Peace Park just across the street. There are no HOA restrictions on vacation rentals which is important to know. What few neighbors you have will greet you with smiles and stories about their love for Sedona. Only a few neighborhoods in Sedona actually allow short term rentals, so rest assured that you will not be frowned upon here.
About Chris Gruneberg
We are "The Sedona CJ's". Chris, Janice, Charlie and Jack. I grew up in the DC area and graduated college with a Hotel & restaurant management degree. I spent close to 20 years in that line of work before moving to Arizona. We came to Sedona on a vacation and new immediately that this was where we wanted to live and raise a family. Our DC friends thought we were crazy. We got questions like "How can you live without a Target?" "Your Home Depot is 20 miles away?" Once those friends came out to visit us they got it. We shook the hurried lifestyle of the east coast and now live in a town nestled in the red rocks with only 6 traffic lights. In 2006 I became a Mr. Mom to our first son, Charlie. 2008 brought us Jack. My wife, Janice, continued her work in education while I changed diapers. Now that the boys are older I am ready to get back into the hospitality field. I chose vacation rentals as a perfect way to do that. I truly want to show everyone why Sedona had that magical pull on us 15 years ago.
Why Chris Gruneberg chose West Sedona
When we first saw this house, it had the same pull that we felt when we first came to Sedona. Being so close to the rocks has a calming effect that is hard to describe in words. It's a feeling of peacefulness that we get at the end of the day when we relax on the deck. Now we want others to get that feeling.
What makes this house unique
This house is close enough to stores and restaurants, but sits in the shadow of Thunder Mountain where light and sound pollution are non existent. At dusk, you will hear the sounds of the desert wildlife and not the traffic of 89a. At night you will see an incredible amount of stars and not the street lights of town.
